The Thrung thrung karmo or the Black-necked crane project is one that started with the scholarship of Creature Conserve in 2021. It is my first venture in the wider Vanwasi Aadiwasi project. The art here aimed to document and raise awareness of the cultural practices of the Sherdukpen tribe of Arunachal Pradesh and their dedication to preserve the nature around them.
